The term Cathocommunist defines, in the italian philosophical and political sphere, the party of those thinkers, politicians and religiouses who, while claiming the Catholic Faith, opt for a political and programmatic choice of the Communist type, eventually accepting, without completely attaching to, a large part of the Marxist metaphysical structure.
