Akari Iiyama (飯山 陽, Iiyama Akari, born February 7, 1976) is a Japanese novelist, translator, Islamic researcher, YouTuber, and politician/activist for the Conservative Party of Japan.[1][2][3] She is known for conservative political views, analysis of the Islamic world, and criticisms of Tokyo governor Yuriko Koike, namely on her Arabic skills.[1][4] Iiyama is currently a visiting professor at Reitaku University.[5]
