Vatican Secret Archives[edit]

It isn't quite accurate to consider the Vatican Archives to be secretive, and it shouldn't be in this section. There are translation issues, and it's more accurate to call it Private Archives rather than Secret Archives. There isn't even anything secret about it. Everyone knows it's there. Granted, much of it is closed off to the public, but that's only because the Vatican, like any other organisation, has sensitive documents in there that require years to pass by before they can be opened up.
