propose new sub-categories[edit]
Somewhat unwieldy category. Propose a few additional categories that would pull in at least 30 orgs to start:
- Peace and anti-war organizations in the United States
- Free expression organizations in the United States
- Technology policy organizations in the United States
- Voting and election policy organizations in the United States
- something to pull together the pro-life /anti-abortion /anti-birth-control groups in accordance w/ wp terminology on this issue
I'd like feedback before I start reorganizing, having scanned through some of the arguments on the CFD (categories for deletion) pages & seen how contentious descriptions of political advocacy, in particular, can get. However, I strongly feel that these cat pages that overflow onto multiple pages lose most of their value for browsers, who (A) can't skim through that many individual organizations anyway; and (B) probably don't even realize there are more orgs and more available subcategories on the subsequent pages. --LQ 23:41, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
