Why create this category when we already have Category:Old Dominicans? There was a discussion about renaming categories such as 'Old Fooians' but it was ultimately inconclusive, so Old Dominicans has been left as it was.D22 (talk) 07:49, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Primarily because when I came to the school page there nothing on it whatsoever showing that a category already existed and a glance at Category:Former pupils by school in Wales suggested the same. Without such clear signposting these mistakes can happen. I guess the easiest is to merge the two and create a category redirect. Timrollpickering (talk) 12:50, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
