Magister Equitums is grammatically incorrect[edit]
Since I don't have administrative privileges and can't change a category name, I spent two weeks trying to get this grammatical error corrected — in vain. The plural of magister equitum is magistri equitum. To form the plural as magistri equitums is as illiterate as forming the plural of "the right of women" as "the right of womens." It disappoints me that the Wikipedia apparatus has become so cumbersome that a grammatical error can't be corrected. The category should be renamed "Category:Masters of the Horse in ancient Rome."
