Hello, from the Southwestern United States deserts, Sonoran Desert in this case. The Downy Woodpecker ended up in two places: Category:Avifauna of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, the other sparrow--White-throated Sparrow- ended up there and in: Category:Avifauna of Iceland, and I did start the Category:Avifauna of Southern Canada (I just added the Clay-colored Sparrow to it.)(I was looking at wiki-links to the Great Lakes and found it.) It also goes up northwesterly into the Canadian plains for its summer range-ing.

If you want to see my attempt at understanding my local plants here in the Sonoran Desert, at the Colorado River border with California: see List of plants by common name (Sonoran Desert). The last plant I entered was in late spring: the Arizona Centaury and actually was really from Missouri (but grows down at the marshes of the Colorado)...Go figure that one: "Centaurium calycosum". It's plant A-8. (Birds need to eat plants/or insects/or Nest/ so the plant page followed the bird pages.)..In-the-Desert..Mmcannis 23:40, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
