Category Membership[edit]

Category has been created to group articles describing or related to audio books, as this appeared to be a missing sub-cat of Category:Books by type.

At creation time, only one entry had been included: The Railway Stories describes the audio-book releases of the Rev. W Awdry's original 'Thomas' books (The Railway Series). It really doesn't fit into any other book-type cat. I'm sure there must be other articles covering audiobook releases of printed works, and this is the place for them!

However, having trawled around links from audio books, there would appear to be a number of articles relating to audio books, such as publishers and broadcasters, which also fit neatly in this cat. (So they have been added.)

NOTE - the category was not intended to include 'all books that have been released as audio books'. That would require a new cat such as Books released as audio books, to match the equivalent Category:Books available as e-books.
