English: Sir Salimullah was established in the Muslim Orphanage 1909. The name of the establishment was Islamia orphanage. Its founder was Nawab Sir Salimullah. The orphanage was set up in a rental house in Kumaratuli next to Ahsan Manzil. Since Nawab Sir Salimullah Bahadur established it in the society of the Muslim orphans in the 5th, and to build their brilliant future, their education, food and social education, then the name of the institution would be to guarantee the most beautiful life. The Muslim orphanage "will be in English- Sir Salimullah Muslim Orphanage. In the year 1, Lord Carmichael (12-5), the Governor of Bengal, visited the orphanage and donated Tk 1,000 for its management. In addition, he arranged for the government's settlement. At that time, a permanent residence of the orphanage was constructed with a chat of the government adjacent to the Gore Shaheed Mosque of Amalapara. Nawab Salimullah carried most of this construction. After the death of Nawab Salimullah in 9, the orphanage was in economic crisis. At that time, many people in Dhaka provide financial support. Salimullah's first child Nawab Khwaja Habibullah Bahadur was made president of the Orphanage Committee and Maulvi Chowdhury Farid Uddin was made general secretary when the company was again in financial crisis in 122. This committee bought 20 bighas of place in the present place of Azimpur and established the orphanage there. After the death of Nawab Khwaja Habibullah in 9, his son Major Nawab Khwaja Hassan became the president of the orphanage. He operated the orphanage for 5 years, but later he left the country. In the meantime, the committee has changed several times. The students went to court when the management committee of that time gave two bighas of land to the orphanage to a construction company. The court asked the building to return the orphanage. On January 2, the government abolished the committee and gave the responsibility of operating the orphanage under the Department of Social Services. Currently the Dhaka Deputy Commissioner is looking after the orphanage. Orphans can study in this orphanage from KG to high school. The students here are now in various important places in the state.
